Living in the Golmore Jungle close to a large mountain range since her birth, Fara had often thought much of the world outside the Wood. Born to a tribe that favored the strong over the weak, Fara was forced into the wilds with a group of other young females, as a test of the elders who was strong enough to survive. From birth, Fara had powerful healing gifts, and was able to save a few of her clan-sisters. However, food and shelter were a struggle, a mysterious benefactor making sure she and her group were fed and taken care of.Fara survived, and as she grew, so did her gifts—being taught to become a healer in her tribe, as well as learning the dances of her people. With her pale skin, midnight and blue streaked locks and crimson eyes, she was quite a fetching and mysterious sight. However, the pale Viera chafed; she had come to hate her tribe for their cruelty and the meaningless trials that destroyed life instead of nurturing it. And so, when the Garlean Empire struck near her home, many Viera were injured, but thankfully, none were captured, thanks to the Green Wood hiding her children.
This was the chance that a young Fara had been waiting for, and under a new moon did she make her escape. The guards were, oddly enough, chasing something else, so security was thin enough for the sable and midnight haired Viera to get through and vanish from the Wood proper.
While wandering through the wilds on one such evening seeking herbs for medicine, the Veena Viera discovered something—or rather, someone.The stranger held a book and was clad in a tunic, breeches and boots---the breeches were ashy gray, the tunic had slightly puffy sleeves and was done in green and gold, the boots were brown and slightly scuffed, but sturdy looking.The person she had stumbled on was none other than a scholar from the city of Limsa Lominsa—a Lalafell by the name of Bris Vriss.
Bris saw potential in the young Viera, and on their way to the island city-state he began teaching her about being a scholar. Because of her natural healing talents, it was easy for Fara to pick up on the aspects of his knowledge. However, during their journey, Bris spotted a squad of Garleans close to their position. He removed his satchel and handed it to his pupil, ordering her on without him, to reach Limsa Lominsa before she too, was made a prisoner of war. Unable to do anything else, Fara left her mentor behind, the sounds of battle and his war cries of “Come hells or high waters!”
As a result, when she reached Limsa Lominsa and delivered her mentor’s letter to the Maelstrom, she was brought into the ranks as a fully fledged scholar, though she began at the bottom as a Storm Private.For a time she worked in the Maelstrom, going where her postings took her and ensuring the Maelstrom’s soldiers were being restored to battle ready condition. She soon learned to stop being timid and was soon known to be one of the fiercest healers when it came to bullying recalcitrant, injured soldiers back into their sickbeds until they were hale and hearty once again. That terrifying ferocity was shown in fights, especially when she and her little Fae companion denied the enemy of victory, blood and life. Garleans in particular suffered her wrath, a sharp reminder of the life she had left behind and wanted to sorely forget.The journey from Ishgard to Ala Mhigo to the lands of the East was anything but pleasant. So much blood, so much betrayal, so much loss. Fara, having left the Maelstrom and the Eorzean Alliance far behind her on good terms, sought to find a new home for herself elsewhere in the world.
Having aided the Warrior of Light, the Confederacy and the Blue Kojin in chasing the Garleans out of the Ruby Sea, she decided to explore the tunnel leading from Yanxia to the Azim Steppe.
Upon exiting the tunnel she was treated to the vast, open plains of the Azim Steppe. Wide, open skies, the screeches of unfamiliar birds, and rolling, green hills dotted with the odd herd of beasts, ruins and perhaps, encampments.
She hadn’t gone very far when the sounds of magitek and primal war shouts filled her ears. Nevertheless, Hunter was determined to prove herself among some of the best of her years. for many years, she trained with the villages healers learning many potions and brews to cure ailments and help out around until her thirst for knowledge came to great, and she craved for more, thus as she struck her 100th year she made the ill advised decision to leave her village in search of other opportunities. of course her mother and "sisters" (other Viera she became close too} tried to talk her out of it, but to no avail. She embarked on her journey to find more information about the White Hand mage guild. She had heard stories of the power and capabilities they possessed, and one day, hoped to bring those back to her village to teach others her ways. She traveled for years, searching for leads.Over the next 5 years, she found plenty of mentors, and tutors to help her figure out how to travel different planes, as most of them have only heard rumors of the WHM. That is, until she found an unlikely ally, a former WHM that turned away from the order. She knew not, why things fell out for her trainer, but did not care, her determination was more important than any reasoning. Her mentor trained her where to look, and who to look for anyway to move across the planes, and with 1 piece of advice, and only 1 name to go off of, she was able to find a black mage that was strong enough to thrust her into different planes, and thus she landed in eorzia, her goal to find the WHM, learn their ways, and hopefully return to her village, in time to see her loved ones she left behind.

Minisuka is an Elpis creation created by a scientist that knew about Hermes’ experiments with Meteion. The alterations to her were different however. She was given special wings, fangs & eyes like that of the Miqo’te of the current age, an immunity to the effects of extreme temperature(s), and slightly more muscle than her stature suggests. That was all until they started adding alchemy into the equation. They gave her the wrong set of potions and it caused her death. The scientist sealed the body in a secret room behind their library only to hear what sounded like a small cat making sounds a few days later. They checked to find a small, fat cat in the room with the body nowhere to be found. Weeks beyond the scientist came home one day to find the female creation returned with no cat to be found, and Mini to have no memory of them or what happened. The scientist destroyed the notes of what combination of potions and testing caused this adverse effect to avoid an attempt at replication. It is assumed that this ability is why she still exists post sundering, similarly to how the ascians have survived with the added ‘bonus’ of amnesia in combination.
After the world was unsundered Mini was dropped on the Ninth shard. (the world of Alexandria) She learned the ways in which they consumed souls to stay alive via a small device that was attached to their head. With no memory of where she was from, she joined and was part of the work done by the “Preservation” and befriended Robor and Alaya. When she heard them planning to send something important through a portal to save it she snuck through before they closed the portal landing in the source. Mini made sure not to be seen and kept her device but hid it under various things like hats, bandanas used as "eye patches", etc.She became a nomad, never staying in one place to long due to her inability to age as everyone else did, learning the trade of a pirate and mercenary to survive and make money.
